    Robbi,
Your writing here is breathtaking. The imagery you created leaves and impression on the heart. Deep calling to deep.
Also, this speaks to our role in the revolution of our day… as prayer warriors, and disciple makers.

The juxtaposition of sheep herder and revolutionary mystic is so cool and speaks to the infinite wisdom and profound caring of our creator and Lord. It makes me think of 🧬 DNA for some reason…(the former biology teacher in me) DNA is simple, made up of 4 nucleotides (A,T,G,C)… but there are infinite possibilities of the different sequences that determine the characteristics of a living thing. God’s design is both simple and infinitely complex… I love how, through Jesus and the Holy Spirit, and especially through revolutionary prayer, we may have access
to both, the simplicity and complexities of His plan… that through individual conversions of the heart, we may see generational revolution of society…mind-boggingly complex and impossible for man, but not for God. So what can we do? As you said, pray, always… thank you for your words and sharing your heart’s pastoral life through this blog.

    Robbi,

I loved this article today, especially the “breath prayers” and your example , “O Lord God…let justice roll down like waters”. I have prayed and prayed, and cried and cried these past few weeks; especially when the protests were going on and things seemed out of control. During that time I read in Habakkuk. These verses are exactly what is happening in our nation, and the world today.

    Habakkuk l: 2-5

“How long O Lord must I call for help, but you do not listen?

Or cry out to you “Violence” but you do not save?

Why do you make me look at injustice?

    Why do you tolerate wrong?

    Destruction and violence are before me;

There is strife and conflict abounds.

    Therefore the law is paralyzed,

    And justice never prevails.

The wicked hem in the righteous,

    So that justice is perverted.

Look at the nations and watch –

    And be utterly amazed,

For I am going to do something in

    Your days

    That you would not believe,

    Even if you were told.”

    Take care.

    Love,

    LaNell
