Robbi James is my heart name! The gifts I have to offer of writing and mentoring come from a life time of adventure, living and traveling around the world and hanging out with university students.
Adventurous Obedience! The word Obedience comes from the Latin word audire, which means “listening.” When we learn to listen, our lives become obedient. Spiritual transformation is necessary in order to move slowly from an absurd to an obedient life, from a life filled with noisy worries to a life in which there is some free inner space where we can listen to our God and follow his guidance. (Making All Things New, Henri Nouwen). For me, the word Adventure is all part of the journey of faith: taking risks, increasing my boundaries, loving all people, and living as a beloved child of God.

Hi Robbi , I’ve been reading your comments on Isaiah 59 v17 where God places the cloak of zeal/passion on his shoulders when he sees that there was no justice for his people. It has empowered me so much that I add it now it to my Armour of God, as in Ephesians 6, when I am praying for loved ones who are facing injustice. I love how I am covered- armed- in His power and authority to overcome the works of the enemy over myself and my family.
